Leading footwear giants Adidas have sold their Rockport brand for $280 million to a newly formed collaboration between Berkshire Partners and New Balance. An interesting move for New Balance who are climbing the ladder in footwear stakes. It will be exciting to see what new approach they can bring to an established name.
